Customs & Commissions
Whether you want a portrait of an individual, house, landscape, or still life, I would love to create a beautiful work of art for you!
Please read below for information on how to order a commission.
1. Pick Your Size
Choose from 7 main painting sizes. If you’re interested in a size that’s not listed, please contact me for a quote.
Prices listed do not include shipping. The cost of shipping is determined by the canvas size and destination address.
All artwork is shipped via UPS. Tracking info is provided once shipped.
2. Contact me!
Once you’ve chosen your canvas size, fill out the Commission Form.
Once the details are reviewed, I’ll provide an estimated timeframe for your artwork. Once confirmed, you’ll be prompted to submit a photograph(s) and background color preferences (if applicable).
4. Choose your Photo
Choose a photo you would like for me to use as a reference.
I usually work from one main photo, but feel free to submit others for me to use to showcase details.
Please note, if your subject request is a generic item and you don’t have a reference photo, such as "tomatoes" or "a rose", I’m happy to send you suggested sample photos to choose from.
3. Payment
Once we’ve discussed your commission, you’ll have the choice of paying in full, or paying a 50% deposit. Please note that the final payment is due 7 days (one week) before I begin painting.
The final delivery date will be dependent on receipt of payment.
5. Choose your Background Color
(If Applicable)
This applies mostly to pet portraits and still life images. Now is the time to select your background color!
Feel free to send me color swatches you have found online if you have a particular color in mind.
6. Delivery
Paintings are packed with care and shipped via UPS. Tracking information will be provided.
Once shipped, paintings usually arrive at their destination within 2 - 5 business days. Arrival dates are subject to UPS delivery schedule.
If you reside within the greater Washington DC area, local pick up may be available.
7. Feedback
I rely on word of mouth and customer views to keep my business running.
Once you receive your artwork, you’ll be sent a brief feedback form. I’d appreciate your honest feedback to share with others.
